Jim Zierick, Southern California

As an executive Jim has led technology companies to improve their performance by solving complex business problems and meeting challenging targets. His functional capabilities include strategy, sales, marketing, product development, operations, new business development and mergers and acquisitions.

As a CEO, Jim repositioned a Sequoia Capital-funded software company, leveraging its embedded controls product technology and negotiating sale of the company to Oracle. He has also led or been a senior executive of other companies in the radiology, cloud storage and security software industries.

In the course of a 13 year career as a partner with McKinsey, Jim helped lead the Southern California technology and operational effectiveness practices. He served technology and industrial clients on strategy development, sales and marketing improvement and new business development. He also assisted leading private equity firms with strategic due diligence and performance improvement projects within their portfolio companies
