Wayne Wager, Pacific Northwest
Wayne’s career has focused on the intersection of healthcare and technology. He was most recently founder and CEO OF JeNu Biosciences, a technology-driven skincare company. There Wayne was responsible for product design and development, clinical and regulatory affairs, manufacturing, marketing and sales. Prior to that Wayne was CEO of Confirma, a company that developed and marketed computer-aided-detection (CAD) systems for medical imaging. He managed Confirma from the development stage to sale of the company to Merge Healthcare, reporting to a board that included six venture capitalists.
Before that Wayne as a partner in Cable & Howse Ventures, the first institutionally funded venture capital firm in the Northwest. He raised and managed five venture capital limited partnerships with combined committed capital of $160 Million. His primary focus was early stage medical device and medical information technology and biotech businesses. He had a major role in the founding of NeoPath, a leading medical diagnostics company in Seattle.
